Tuesday 31st July 2018 - Arizona (Gen T-Storm Risk)

Day 1 of the trip saw a very quiet day in Arizona after the day before had been a pretty severe day when we landed or almost did not land with a Haboob hitting Phoenix about the time our BA Flight was landing.Anyway the Cap was too strong but after watching the Sunset on Mount Lemmon we noticed some Lightning just over the border in Mexico way off to our South, along the way back to Phoenix and a full 120 miles away from the Storms we stopped for some Milky Way and distant storm shots mainly to see if we could pick up any sprites, unfortunately no sprites but the Milky Way was there to see until the Moon rose at 958pm. Nice Start to the Monsoon and much more active tomorrow.
